In Bresseo there is the beautiful Villa Cavalli which, as in the case of many Venetian villas, is the urban backbone of this location, the raison d’etre of the country – says Brunelli. Built in the seventeenth century by Cavalli, patrician family of Bavarian origin, from 1381 it has been aggregated by merits of war to Venetian nobility.

The villa consists of a simple body flanked by two long barns, at whose ends, perpendicular to the main building, the guest quarters, one of which contains the oratory. The villa was inherited by the Giustinian in the eighteenth century, then by Forti bankers and then by Lugli family; today it is a Malandrin property.
