The church of St Vitus, located in the middle of the field at the entrance to Vid, is one of the oldest in the area. Although experts do not agree about the time of its emergence (probably 16th century), they are certain that it was built on the site of another much larger church – one of the three old Christian basilicas in the then Narona. Besides the church, there is also an early Christian baptistery – a baptismal font from the 5th century with excellently preserved octagonal baptismal font.
