The old mansion situated at the highest point of the park is flanked by two little churches and inside of one of them the grave of Count Alberto Papafava was placed.
The building with simple and elegant lines is surrounded by an endless park with woods of poplars, ash trees and cypresses. In the park there are caves, a pond, a neoclassical temple, wide meadows, long paths and a romantic english garden.
The existence of the villa seems to date back to the 17th century; while in 1822, thanks to the project of Alessandro Papafava the entire structure was revised in a perfect neoclassical style.
