The original plant is from 1086, a work from the Benedictine monks of the Basilica of Santa Giustina of Padua. It was suppressed by decree of the Republic of Venice in 1771 and sold to private owners, it was transformed into a villa. Since 1948 hosts again a religious community, the Benedictine nuns exiled from Rijeka after the annexation from the former Yugoslavia. The complex is arranged by the lovely church with a central plan, in Baroque style, designed by Francesco Muttoni and the monastery with the Belvedere terrace, from which you can admire the Euganean Hills and the interiors or the numerous rooms built in the period in which the building was a villa: the fire, the stuccos, the yellow green and red rooms.
