Kiteboarding is a surface water sport that combines aspects of wakeboarding, windsurfing, paragliding, and gymnastics into one extreme sport. A kitesurfer or kiteboarder uses wind power by controlled power in order to move kite across the water. At the mouth of the Neretva River, an ideal destination for this sport, there are two clubs that offer kiteboard kiteboarding school, rental and lease equipment for kiteboarding, chairs, umbrellas and other sports equipment. Concerts, festivals and a sports event are often held at the mouth of river Neretva.
